I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of California (PSY 25228), specializing in psychotherapy for adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, as well as pregnancy-, postpartum-, and parenting-related issues.

My Therapeutic Approach

My approach to working with clients is collaborative and from a strength-based model. I aim to be respectful of your individual strengths, struggles, and goals. I utilize your strengths and integrate conceptualization and techniques from different approaches towards achieving your goals including: Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, family systems, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Functional Family Therapy (FFT). It is my goal to tailor your treatment to your specific needs.

Education & Clinical Training

I have several years of experience providing individual, family, and group psychotherapy to diverse populations. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University in San Francisco. I completed my predoctoral internship at a community mental health clinic in Southern California working children, adolescents, and families to address issues including family discord, early childhood attachment, and adjustment to changes in the family. I returned to the Bay Area to complete my postdoctoral residency at Kaiser Permanente in San Jose, CA. During my residency, I worked with children, adolescents, and families on a range of issues including depression, anxiety, behavioral issues, family discord and distress, and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. I am also currently a psychologist working with adults and on the triage and crisis team at Kaiser Permanente in Redwood City. Prior to starting graduate school,  I obtained certification in Early Childhood Education and have been able to integrate this knowledge to my clinical work with young children.
